The Industrial Product Configurator, accessible online via PTplace.com, is an expert system that puts the knowledge of Baldor's expert engineers in the customer’s hands. This extension of Baldor's technological leadership allows customers to create their own customized configurations, defining product solutions that meet their specific needs.

The system uses detailed engineering parameters and business rules to ensure compatibility of all selections, allowing the customer to generate an immediate quote with pricing specific to their Baldor account. All custom configured quotes may be ordered online, including those created by a Baldor Sales Representative.
