Dodge & Reliance Products System-1 Solutions




		Use System-1 to quote your Bulk Conveyor Drive Systems. This rock quarry chose Dodge and Reliance to provide a Mine Duty Extra Pulley, TAF Bearings, Torque Arm II Shaft Mount Reducer, D-V Sheaves, Fluid Coupling, driven by a Premium Efficient Extra Tough Motor.

		Here is an example of a customized pump assembly. The customer supplied pump, coupled via a Dodge V-belt drive to a Reliance E-master motor with a slide base for belt tensioning was mounted on a custom made baseplate, fabricated to meet the customers requirements. A custom made safety yellow belt guard was also designed specifically for this application. This solution allowed for easy integration into the customers existing process.

		This picture shows a direct drive utilizing a Quantis MSM Offset Parallel Unit powered by a Reliance Premium Efficient Extra Tough Motor. This package provides a compact, low maintenance, solution that is easy to install.

		An offset parallel drive system is displayed here. This rating required a Dodge Cyclone Offset Parallel Reducer and Dodge Bearings. System-1 coordinated the use of an external backstop sourced from another vendor. System-1 is experienced in providing solutions to applications of all sizes.

		A popular design for a turning gear drive [Creep Drive] is shown in this picture. This package arrived at the customer completely assembled and aligned on a heavy duty baseplate. A Reliance Motor drives the Maxum Reducer through a fluid coupling for a soft start to maximize the life of the system. When the driven equipment needs to be inspected, the over-running clutch disengages the main drive and engages the smaller motor and reducer. The equipment now runs at a fraction of the speed during normal operation.

		Dodge and Reliance also offers pre-packaged drive and tail conveyor assemblies. These packages were designed for Bulk Conveyor Applications offering a variety of common configurations. The drive system illustrated here offers a Reliance Motor driving a Torque Arm II Shaft Mount Reducer through a V-belt Drive. System-1 will ship the motor, reducer, and V-drive assembled with belt guards and a motor mount. The pulley, shaft, and bearing will be delivered as a single piece, ready to be mounted to the reducer. Customized solutions are available upon request.
